Air Fried Cookie Dough Egg Rolls
We all know there’s a LOT an air fryer can do. They’re seriously a game changer, I don’t know how we didn’t live life before them. You can use them to cook pretty much anything from fries to chicken wings and everything in between. They essentially are a mini convection oven. This got me thinking, can we put our cookie dough to the test? But let’s take it up a notch. That’s how these air fried cookie dough egg rolls were born. You only need 4 ingredients for this and one of them is water, they’re that easy. Ok enough fangirling over air fryers, here’s how to make them:
First, let’s start with what you’ll need:
- Egg roll wraps
- Signature Chocolate Chip Cookie DŌ (or any of our dough flavors)
- Water
- Non-stick cooking spray
- Topping: chocolate syrup and powdered sugar
1. Start by laying one egg roll wrap on a cutting board
2. Add 2-3 tablespoons of cookie dough
3. Dip your fingers or a pastry brush in the water and paint the four sides of the egg roll. This acts as the “glue” and will help everything stick together
4. Take the corner closest to you and fold towards the center of the dough
5. Then take the left and right corners and fold inward
6. Roll to the top and make sure the top corner sticks. Repeat this for 3-5 rolls
7. Freeze the rolls for 15 minutes
8. Heat air fryer to 350℉ and spray the rack inside with nonstick cooking spray. Place the egg rolls in the air fryer and spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 5-7 minutes checking in between
9. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and powdered sugar
10. Pull them apart and enjoy!
